A. O. Smith Water Products Company, a European subsidiary of A. O. Smith, likes to be in hot water -- and it works to ensure that its customers are, too. It makes commercial and residential water-heating equipment under such names as Cyclone, Genesis, and Vertex. It also makes Cirrex-brand solar panel water heaters. Other products include commercial boilers, commercial natural gas water heaters, residential electric and natural gas water heaters, expansion tanks, and pump tanks. They're sold through wholesale distributors and retail chains. The Netherlands office is among about a dozen such manufacturing facilities operated globally under the A. O. Smith umbrella in North America, Mexico, China, and India.
